EGYPTIAN HIEROGLYPHS

Understanding Hieroglyphic Inscriptions
In 2006 Bill Petty developed a course "Understanding Hieroglyphic Inscriptions". It is a course that emphasizes actual translation
    with a minimum of grammar.

Since that time the course has been taught at both the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and as an on-site learning experience
in Egypt. It is being tought again in August of this year at the DMNS. Over the next few months the course will be made available on
this site as a learning opportunity.   The first lesson wil be posted in the Fall of 2007.
